Marion's father was James Herbert Carter and her mother's maiden name was Parrot. Marion entered into a civil partnership with PJ on 9th October 2010 and they married on 12th November 2016. For some while she and PJ share a canal narrow boat for accommodation which suited them very well. They now live in Shropshire.
