Joanna and Joseph had a son, Rev Francis William Lodington (22/08/1790-30/01/1857) born at Southwick, Northants. He was educated at Eton and Clare College, Cambridge where he matriculated 01/05/1810. BA (9th Wrangler) 1814; MA 1817; BD 1833. Fellow 1815. Junior Proctor 1821-2. Rector of Brington with Bythorn and Old Weston, Hunts, 1839-57. A benefactor to the college.
