George Hook was wounded twice in WWI; a gunshot to the left forearm and a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, both in 1918. He and his wife Alice have a son and three daughters.
He is the son of John James Hook born 1852 Soham, Cambridgeshire and died 1922 Hitchin, Hertfordshire and Emma Augusta Eglington born July 1853 Norfolk and died 1913 London. They married in October 1876 in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire and had nine children.
