Frank retired in 1920 having been Officer Commanding the Citadel and all military bases in the Plymouth area and bought a country mansion on the River Tamar. He and his wife both died there.
Beatrice Elena Alice de Ambrosis was the daughter of Edoardo de Ambrosis born 20 7 1860 Florence, Italy and died 24 5 1914 (whereabouts not known) and Fanny Beatrice Page born 19 5 1858 Moxley, Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and died 1 7 1953 Tavistock, Devon. They have another daughter who was also born in Italy.
